The widgets is kind of stupid, they should have a configure option how
they should fill the area around them but they don't. One way to make
widgets align to the right is to add the "Activity manager" (i don't
know it's English name) and place it to the left of the widgets you
want to align to the right. There are also a widget Panel Spacer

that you can use but I never got to work. Panel spacer is also in
Intrepid with KDE 4.2.
