strange plasma and behavior in KDE 4.2

I filed a bug report about the size of the clock, and was told that it's
infinitely resizeable (see <49ADAAF2.2080709 at gmail.com> posted on this
reflector; the actual words were "manageable as a freely resizable object").

Which is great, except that I sure can't figure out how to resize it, nor
have I been able to persuade any of the developers to give me instructions.

FYI, the bug report is at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=185447. It
is marked RESOLVED / WONTFIX.
