K-menu question

hi, i'm using karmic with KDE 4.3. is there any easy way to make the
menu behave like in OpenSUSE? that is, all programs categorized?
right now, kubuntu have the top-level categories, but inside
"Internet" for example i see everything together, whereas on suse
inside internet i see more categories of "browser" "instant messaging"
etc...
can this be achieved easily on kubuntu? some KDE setting?
