I removed pulseaudio and got other options, all listed below. I tried
all the options (except the bluetooth ones) and none enabled me to speak
using the microphone. The "speakers" and "ringing" lines are set at
default and I can hear. Any more ideas on how to make the mike work. As
I said before it isn't a hardware problem as the microphone works in
Windows.
