Since sending this request, I continued to work. I received an instruction
form the computer to remove libsdl1.2debian-alsa before continuing. Since
that I had to reboot to try to continue. When I booted, I came to an
interruption in the boot process that asked for my username and password.
When I entered them, I was at a command prompt with no knowledge of what to do
next. That is where I am right now.
Should I attempt to remove pulseaudio right now using the CLI. I am not
exactly sure what to type in to do that.
Thanks for the help.
