Kubuntu and touch screens

My best half came in and asked me if I wanted a touch screen monitor. I
said, "For?" She said, "Do you want a 23" touch screen monitor for your
computer?" I repeated, "For?" I then went on, "I have a keyboard and a
trackball. Why would I want to leave finger prints all over my monitor?"

The bottom line is that I don't want a touch screen monitor for my
desktop computer. However, if it could be connected wirelessly and I
could use it anywhere in the house, that might be kind of cool. Kind of
like a 23" tablet with the power of my quad core, sixteen gig memory,
desktop.

But, it did raise a somewhat interesting question in my mind. I have a
Dell Inspiron Duo that can't quite make up it's mind if it is a tablet
or a netbook. Open it up, it's a netbook, flip the screen around and
close and it becomes a tablet. It's been running Windows 7 since new
because my best half doesn't want to learn/use linux and we share it [
we really don't because she has her own toys to play with ]. Anyway,
back to the question:

How well does Kubuntu deal with touch screens?
