While looking at a web site from someone's sig, I came across this page:
http://www.debuntu.org/2006/06/25/70-how-to-disabling-your-touchpad-while-typing/
I've now set up the syndaemon for my system, and am really happy that
I'm not having problems with accidentally clicking away from the area
that I'm typing. It was really frustrating before because I wouldn't
accidentally click very often before, but I would invariably do it while
typing a long paragraph. It would garble things up so badly that I would
sometimes have problems figuring out what went where.
All of the programs and settings are there for this to work on Dapper, I
just wonder why it isn't enabled by default.
