(NOT solved) Toshiba Portege 4010 Suspend/Resume

I guess I spoke too soon.  I've played with heaps of settings, and some 
kernel boot options as well, in the hopes of getting suspend to work 
reliably.  At the moment, though, I'm only getting a 25% success rate or 
so, and I don't know what the common thread is yet between each attempt!

Can anyone help me work out what's going on?
