You're guide is really detailed and, I'm sure, very helpful. It deserves to be 
published. Searching here and there, I've noticed that heating is sometimes a 
real problem with laptops, although our might be one of the worst.

I'll give it a go next week when I'll have more time. I'll make sure I'll have 
all the most necessary things you mentioned at hand and the coffee locked 
away to decrease chances of a nervous breakdown - I know how easy it is to 
break those little wires and how diffcult is spotting the tiny screws. 

Anyway, I'll have to follow your path. And yes, I'll report back.
