Looking at the repo layout, the trunk for gallery2 should be:

    https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gallery/trunk/gallery2/

With the root you entered, the source code would be imported > 100
times over (which is useless and time consuming).

There are plans to improve this UI a bit to make things more obvious.
