Searching in Malone currently isn't nearly as powerful as searching in
Bugzilla. However, we hope to change that over the coming months.

If you have time to read the draft design for improving the search, I'd
be interested in your comments.

Right, this is bug 1006.

I've proposed that advanced operators like this use the name:value
syntax popularized by AltaVista and Google, rather than the name=value
syntax used by Bugzilla. So for this example, you'd be able to enter
reporter:michael at endbracket.net, or reporter:michael-endbracket (your
Launchpad ID). Does this seems reasonable?

I've proposed that you be able to do this with an operator like
package:ubuntu/xserver-xorg-input-keyboard.

In theory you can list the bugs reported on a single package right now,
by going to the page for that package
<https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-
keyboard>, and clicking "Bugs"
keyboard/+bugs>.

In practice your bug doesn't show up there, for the reason Matthew East
mentioned: we don't show "Needs Info" bugs when we should. This should
be fixed today, and the fix should appear on launchpad.net sometime in
the next two weeks.

Cheers
