Well, these individual items are tasks. Now tasks are meant to indicate
"work items"; this means that, to fix that bug:

    1. Upstream needs to fix their bug
    2. Someone in Ubuntu needs to package a new upstream version

Bjorn is working on improving the way bugs linked to bugwatches work;
you'll get automatic status updates and it will generally be less
confusing. This may reduce the pain in dealing with this new concept.
