That's a great improvement, thanks. Putting the syntax in the section
headings is a good trick as it leads to a summary `reference card' in
the wiki table of contents.
The document should say what I should expect in response to one of
these mails. (At the moment LP seems to be ignoring my messages and
I'm not sure why. Surely it should send me a nak or something?)
And, the document it should say how I can send messages with mixed
commands and text (or textual data) and be sure that only the commands
are interpreted. Is there a ` done' I can use to stop processing ?
The `indent your commands' thing is a bit silly really because it's
predicated on the idea that I might want the system to pluck my
commands out of running text. That's a bit like the way Internet
Exploder will look inside your text emails to see if they contain
uuencode start marks - it's just a bad idea. The message format
should make it unambiguous which parts are commands and which parts
are comment text.
