How to change upstream bugstatus?

Hi Matt

Thanks for your reply.

This specific bug has:
Outstanding bugs -- Normal bugs; Unclassified (1 bug)

Which means upstream hasn´t classified it yet and therefor our bug is
"unconfirmed". But you agree this is wrong, do you?

In cases like this it would be cool to have the oportunity to
permanently overwrite the upstream bugstatus manually in launchpad.

...or maybe overwrite the upstream bugstatus manually in launchpad until
upstream change their bugstatus, which would then automaticaly synced again.

??

Both of this possibilyties would make our life easier because it would
be better to distinguish:

"our bugs" where we need s.th. to do.

"upstream bugs" where we have allready done all we could do and just
wait for upstream to apply the changes, too.


Maybe there is an other possibilty of which i haven´t thought yet to
make this work in launchpad.
