Random problem when log onto UBUNTU Edgy

I'm sorry, but I can't help with the GNASH crash. For that you could try
#ubuntu-bugs @ irc.freenode.net. Today is a Ubuntu Bug day and there are
lots of ubuntu developers in that channel squashing bug.
