Karma points disapear

So I'm still a little disappointed how this was communicated.  I know
found this
page:https://help.launchpad.net/KarmaReductionJan07?action=show&redirect=KarmaAdjustmentsJan07
on the launchpad wiki it looks like and that's only after following the
help ticket.
I know Matt Revell has been trying to work on some of the openess amongst
Launchpad, but I think the ball was really dropped here.
