If it counts, my sincere apologies for this. Salgado and I didn't
realize that the caching problem would actually lead to people having
their karma artificially inflated for a long time. Just for some
background, we did the change in order to improve Launchpad performance
for karma listings, which was getting really critical (and which is
still problematic for Ubuntu).
