Launchpad: Only first entry recognised

I had edited several pages on
   
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/edgy/+source/ekiga/+pots/ekiga/de_DE/+translate
and just seen that only those entries where I entered a new translation
were saved.

I expected that clicking an already good translation would flag this
translation to be used,
because there are checkboxes.

I should have mistrusted the function when I observed that clicking the
checkbox of a new translation
does not clear that of the reference to already existing translations,
and vice versa.

(Used Firefox 2.0.0.1 unter xubuntu)
