Closing a bug

You should be able to do that by clicking on the name of the thing it's 
reported about (e.g. "launchpad") in the "Affects" table, and changing 
the Status to either "Rejected" or "Fix Released", whichever is 
appropriate for the particular bug.

That this is not obvious is itself a bug.
