Rosetta and string searching

Hello !

I'm quite new on this list, so I present myself very briefly: I'm a
member of the french organization Ubuntu-fr, software engineer at the
INRIA, and one of the members of the french translation team.

I'm working with the new beta version of Launchpad, which is really
nice (we should by the way start the translation of Launchpad UI,
don't we ? https://translations.beta.launchpad.net/launchpad-project/+translations
is empty...)

My question relates to the "Search for string" feature in Rosetta. I
miss it a lot, at least to be able to translate strings with their
context in applications.

A feature description exists here:
https://blueprints.beta.launchpad.net/rosetta/+spec/search, but I
can't access the full specification (seems private :( ), and I've no
idea about the status of this feature. A small nice AJAX search box
would be great ! :)
