Hi Valient,

Launchpad is designed to allow tracking bugs related to both upstream
projects and distribution packages. This means that it is possible to
file a bug against the "encfs" project or the "encfs" Ubuntu package.

Looking at the bug listings for these two, I suspect this is what has
led to the confusion:
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/encfs/+bugs
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/encfs

Now there are a few things you can do here:

1. If you want to be CC'd on bugs filed against the encfs Ubuntu
package, add yourself as a contact here:
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/encfs/+subscribe

2. Launchpad allows a bug to be filed against multiple contexts. If
any of the bugs filed against the Ubuntu package are issues you want
to track upstream, choose the "Also affects upstream" link in the
actions menu on the bug page and select the "encfs" project. This
will allow the status of the bug to be tracked separately for both
upstream and the Ubuntu pacakge.

James.
