Manual update of snap/snapd and core/ubuntu-core

Hi Chris,
Yes it seems to have! So I guess I am being automatically updated after
all! Maybe this is a rather basic question but how does one keep track of
whether or not an automatic update has occurred. (I had seen messages
previously in syslog about attempted updates).
