Hi all,

We have a beautiful new Ubuntu family member for the cloud: Ubuntu
Core is lean, transactional, snappy and neat!

Everything you need to know to get started is available at
http://ubuntu.com/snappy

It just takes a couple of minutes to give it a try, and we'll publish
daily updates to the image following the standard set for desktop,
server and traditional cloud images as well, so you can always get
today's hot-off-the-press Core.

This mailing list is intended to discuss snappy tools for application
development for Ubuntu Core (and soon, the next iteration of the
Ubuntu Phone). For example, tools that let you build snap packages
that include content from debs, as well as tools for pulling github or
other sources of sourcery into your snappy application, are all in
scope for this list.

Also, we'll announce changes to the snappy package format here, or
changes to Ubuntu Core that you'll want to be aware of.
