Hi
I'm beginner with Ubuntu and Raspberry device.I successfully installed "Snappy Ubuntu" on a Raspberry PI Mod. 2 . ( ARM7 architecture )
I'm facing with some inqueries / issues .... Could please provide some help.
- KeyBoard
How to switch Keyboard layout to "AZERTY" mode... (French keyboard )
- Micro SD card Installation format.
i have Disk /dev/mmcblk0: 7.5 GiB ==> 15.644.672 sectors Only about 3 GiB is used after the installation.
Do we need to extend manually or is there any automatic extend program ? . Please explain
Device Boot Start End Sectors Size Id Type
/boot /dev/mmcblk0p1 * 8192 139263 131072 64M c W95 FAT32 (LBA)
/ /dev/mmcblk0p2 139264 2236415 2097152 1G 83 Linux
/dev/mmcblk0p3 2236416 4333567 2097152 1G 83 Linux
/writable /dev/mmcblk0p4 4333568 5857279 1523712 744M 83 Linux
- Ras PI Mod 2. doesn't save the 'Date'.We have some certificate issues with some snappy commands. Is it possible to setup a network (NTP) ?
- Wireless connection Issue
i connected a802.11 WLAN on the USB device . [ 16.679145] usb 1-1.3: Product: 802.11n WLAN Adapter
[ 16.684143] usb 1-1.3: Manufacturer: Realtek
Snappy Ubuntu security framework don't allow the Root id to update system files.
==> cant't edit /etc/network/interfaces
How can we process to setup wireless adaptor ? Do we need to disable the security layer ?
In case i known how to edit/save a system file is this following setup is correct ?
-- Update ---
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inet dhcp
allow-hotplug wlan0
auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
wpa-ssid "Your Network SSID"
wpa-psk "Your Password"
source-directory /etc/network/interfaces.d // do we need to comment this previous line ?
