Correct. Juju is for scale out workloads that need to be orchestrated.
Either on any public cloud, private cloud or a bunch of servers (via MAAS).

Snappy is the way to deploy apps on top of Ubuntu Core that is an evolution
of click packages. Snappy allows transactional upgrading and increased
security thanks to application containment.

Correct Ubuntu Core is the minimal release of Ubuntu. Snappy makes it
really easy to deploy Snappy Apps or Snapps as well as Snappy Frameworks on
top. You can run Ubuntu Core inside the cloud, on an X86 or on different
devices.

Juju can manage scale out IoT platforms that talk to Snappy Ubuntu Core
enabled devices. In the future Juju could be managing Snappy Ubuntu Core
but the details on how that would work are still TBD.

You will be able to create Snapps and put them in the Snapp Store. You can
already deploy Snappy Ubuntu Core on the Beaglebone Black so you can start
working on your Snapp already. We are also working on commercial charms to
support the deployment of commercial solutions. So yes you should be able
to do this in the future. For more information on the charm partner
programme you can go to
