as Mike Terry says, Xmir brings some versioning shenanigans into the
picture.
As for the Mir snap itself, here's a write up I did with mterry's help

So you'd need to build that locally.
At the moment, there's no Mir snap in the store, i'm trudging through
creating a proper security policy for it atm in order to get it in the
store.
