SNAP_USER_DATA directory removed, but there was user data in it

Hi guys

After using it, I removed one of my snap apps (a reasonable use case).

The SNAP_USER_DATA directory has some files inside it. Nevertheless, it
was removed when I removed the snap app. Well, I'm afraid this was a bad
thing.
So, I would like to raise (the subject) for discussion here.

Unfortunately, I can't see the version of snap with --help/--version (I
guess it is 2.8.4).

Thanks
------

$ ls "$DATA"
alltests.in  john.log  john.pot  solucao

$ sudo snap remove john-the-ripper
[|] Discard interface connections for snap "john-the-ripper"

$ ls "$DATA"
ls: cannot access '/home/ubuntu/snap/john-the-ripper/100001/.john': No
such file or directory

PS: I'm looking forward to something like this:
