@ubuntu.com: These addresses are available to all Ubuntu members. Some
people with that address are Canonical employees and/or are Ubuntu
developers, and some are neither.

@canonical.com: Everyone with such an address is a Canonical (or
Fieldwave - never mind, the details are uninteresting) employee; however
Canonical engages in activities other than Ubuntu (e.g. Launchpad, bzr).
It would be nearly impossible for any one employee to have a grasp on
everything.

In any case, it's generally best to assume that people are speaking for
themselves rather than for the organisation to which their e-mail
address belongs unless they say otherwise.
