considering the guy comes from Sheffield in the UK, why are are those
links to U.S. sites with prices in dollars? 2 of them do seem to do
international shipping, one charges an additional fee, depending on
weight, the other requires you to email them for a quote.
Get out more?????? Just because he doesn't live in the U.S. you
suggest he should go there for a laptop? I thought it would be obvious
he was from the U.K. it was on the BBC's webpage and has a .uk tld,
I managed to find 1 uk retailer, for some reason despite the fact
google knows I am in the UK it thinks I want US sites, it would help
if sites used the correct country level domain.

Laptops are not cheap, most people are not going to send that kind of
money to a company they have never heard of. It is pretty difficult to
get a non-windows laptop in the U.K. from a reputable company.
This is funny though, I typed in 'Linux' into the search box on
pcworld.co.uk, and they 'recommended' a USB stick, and ... a copy of
Microsoft Office Student and Teachers edition, how is that in any way
connected to my search for Linux? The only other match was some modem,
no PCs, no Laptops, not even an RHEL boxset.
Curry's had no matches to my search either.
