How much karma should one have before applying to becoming a member.

This Karma system reminds me of Earl.

In Launchpad, the higher karma means good karma, While Earl checks out his
good deeds in his list. he's probably trying to lessen his karma.

I just wish Canonical could monetize the karma points! whohoo!! we're all be
rich by now! :-)

On the second thought, the Karma and Adsense can have alot of common,
hmmm...

I think the business model for a Karma system would be

 - Getting Ubuntu to work better, by fixing bugs, etc.
 - Get paid by installing Ubuntu. Probably sending the unique CPU serial
number to Ubuntu once the CD is installed.
 - Translations.
 - Support.

Just some thought.
