Orca doesn't speak

Hello,

I have installed new Linux, then installed brltty and Orca(thru
apt/synaptic, package gnome-orca).
The problem is, Orca started after Gnome has started but it does not
speak.
But it has spoken when a friend of mine started it for the first time
and it opened some text settings window.

As for the Braille display it works ok with Orca as well as with Brltty.
