Ubuntu and virus protection

Just thought I'd mention virtual machines. They are so cheap (OS free 
(ie linux), app free (Virtualbox for personal use)) that it is feasible 
to have a VM hosted on nearly any operating system running a Linux guest 
that has the single purpose of Internet banking.
