[Bug 120938] kicker does not show up anymore

Public bug reported:

When kicker is set to hide immediately (or perhaps even after some time), and show up only when mouse is moved to the bottom of the screen, sometimes it will suddenly stop working after a long period of use.
It will also not appear anymore afterwards, even after killing it and restarting it.

This seems to be related to a corruption(?) of its kickerrc file.
