Oi gente,

Alguém aí conseguiu instalar o vmware no Ubuntu?
Estou tendo uns probleminhas na hora de instalar.

Parece que ele precisa encontrar uns caminhos para o source do kernel.
No meu /usr/src/ só havia esses dois arquivos:
linux-source-2.6.10.tar.bz2  rpm

Descompactei o linux-source-2.6.10.tar.bz2 e rodei um make menuconfig 
sem mexer em nada, só pra ele criar uns arquivos que o vmware pedia, mas 
mesmo assim dá isso aqui:

The directory of kernel headers (version 2.6.10) does not match your running
kernel (version 2.6.10-5-686-smp).  Even if the module were to compile
successfully, it would not load into the running kernel.

Pelo que eu entendi, eu precisaria do kernel-source versão 
2.6.10-5-686-smp e os únicos que estão disponíveis no repositório são:
$ sudo apt-cache search linux-source
linux-patch-ubuntu-2.6.10 - Ubuntu patches to Linux 2.6.10
linux-source-2.6.10 - Linux kernel source for version 2.6.10 with Ubuntu 
patches
linux-patch-ubuntu-2.6.11 - Ubuntu patches to Linux 2.6.11
linux-source-2.6.11 - Linux kernel source for version 2.6.11 with Ubuntu 
patches

Alguém teria uma solução???
