You're right, the genisoimage package would need to have modified to no
longer add a 'Provides:' field and stop distributing the mkisofs
symlink.

As workaround, you would have to remove genisoimage and the
ubuntu-desktop metapackage in order to test these packages.

Work on this is ongoing. It currently looks like we could have cdrtools
in jaunty if everything goes well. Stay tuned...
