Ontario Schools have MS only policy?

I have to say that is some what true.

I'm currently in computer science at La Cité Collégiale and every PC is
running windows.

we do have linux class via VMware, and the first programming class was with
JAVA.
I'm not in the programming program but I know that they have C++ class, but
these are in Visual Studio.

I have to agree with Darryl Moore that the school is in a Micro$oft exchange
program: they the the update, preview, demo and other stuff very cheap.
That was the same thing in Québec city at CEGEP Francois-Xavier-Garneau.
Same story, they all have special licencing with Microsoft.

What funny, is that the teach are themself are tired of working with M$.
