Need a bit of help ubuntu...

My name is Guy Terreault


History: 57 year old, have a PC since 1986 and ave been a windows user.
          I have studied computer science in Montreal in  what we call
          a C.E.G.E.P. college a 3 year after hi-school


Last week i was watching a tv programme "La revanche des nerdZ" on ZTELE"
so they convinced me to try ubuntu (Linux). I have it installed for a
week now still testing and trying it to make every thing work.

On Feb the 14 2006 my friend gave me his old PC and Windows XP (Sic and
tired of XP)
I also became a new Internet user, still not comfortable whit Forums.
But I try.

OK I need help to get me going...

If i had a friend that i could communicate with threw Gaim Internet
messenger that would be the best.

Today i am trying OpenOffice.org access. The problem is that when i try
to create a form whit the wizzard
every thin work until i press the Finish button nothing happens after that.
I tried the help, Google and ubunto sites did't find what i need. except
your address.
