Hi :
I have two Scanners an Agfa e52 Snapscan and a Lexmark X73 Scanner. In
both cases it comes up with an error, using any Scanner Program in
Ubuntu Linux. The Agfa e52 Scanner is rated as being compatible with
Linux Scanner programs, but it comes up with "invalid argument" in both
cases. Then the program in question closes. Is there a scanner that
works well with Ubuntu Linux 7.10? At the moment I can't scan anything.
I need to cut out and actually Glue receipts to pieces of paper to send
them to an Accountant. It's messy to say the least.
Windblows, had a virus in it when I downloaded a set of Virus Detector
Signatures from a Spanish Virus Detector Company. I use Linux more and
more. Winders in my experience is a bunch of Garbage, not worth any
money! I switched to Linux when I was having to format my hard Drive
more than once a week! I had a Firewall, and all the other stuff, but it
was totally Useless!

Is there a Scanner that someone there has had good luck with?
