Live Disk frpm Canonical Ltd.

I recently downloaded 7.04? as iso & installed it. It works well, but is 
slow to load.
Is there any benefit in re installing from Caonical Live disk??
If there is, will it automatically find & use the Partitioning that I 
previously selected & now use?? That part of the process makes me 
nervous as I screwed up my wWndows & had to do a reinstall - last year.
