Indeed, it's been really lovely to have both my desktop (an HP with an
intel X3100) and my laptop (MSI Wind with the Intel 945 chipset) work
flawlessly out of the box and through several upgrades.  Amidst all this
talk of upgrades failing, I've gone seamlessly from 7.10 -> 8.04 -> 8.10
on the desktop and 8.04 to 8.10 on the laptop - the latter /within/ an
enctypted partition :)
