Support in terms of security upgrades was stopped in Oct. of last year.

Let's hope for Apr. of this year, as 6.06LTS (desktop) & 7.10 will stop being supported in favour of 8.04LTS & 8.10. 9.04 will also be introduced.

Or try and fix the problems, yourself or with others help, thats us :), and remember why you switched in the first place. Security, the ability to get into the innards of the OS and tweak it the way you want, a huge amount of good free software that won't screw with your setup or take over your system, and freedom from the oppression of content providers proprietary crap(DRM), etc.
