You have a package manager in Ubuntu that will take care of installing
and removing programs. Look for tuxsaver in Synaptic Package Manager and
install from there.
The package you have is an "rpm" and the type of package you need for
Ubuntu is a "deb" package as it is Debian in it's nature.
You can still install from an rpm package with the program "alien" which
will also install from Synaptic. However generally you will have better
luck using the package manager and Debian packages.
Using the package manager will keep your dependencies in order and
ensure that programs have the correct libraries installed along with the
program itself.
