Pidgin supports all sorts of protocols, including XMPP/Jabber/GTalk, Yahoo, AIM, MSN, and many, many more. If you're only seeing Bonjour, something is broken. I'm not sure about the GMail notifications, but I believe the answer is yes. Tony Yarusso http://tonyyarusso.com/
