Faces of Ubuntu developers - an observation

Here is the UDS group photo at Wikipedia.

I didn't count the whole crowd, but there must have been 200 people or
more in the photo. I did look for what appeared to be female faces. I
counted only 12, with a few that were not clearly visible, mostly
because of bright sunlight reflections. I realize that there is less
of a gender imbalance in other areas, such as promotion, documentation
and the like, but still...
