Ah, this is probably true, however...
What is your point? We're developing on Ubuntu to get a better
software platform, to distribute software to the masses, etc; not to
gawk at colleagues who happen to be of the opposite sex. ;)
While it's true that there happens to be imbalance, I'd like to
believe things are going relatively well considering that AFAIK we
*are* very welcoming and open (and Ubuntu and the UDS have strict
anti-harassment policies), and we have projects like Ubuntu Women (and
that team organizes events, etc.). I'm not saying that there is
nothing that can be done, but merely that pointing out this fact
doesn't help.
Do you believe something is missing there? If it's the case, it would
be helpful if you could provide concrete ideas and solutions; I'll
happily communicate them to the Community Team or to the Ubuntu Women
team, as necessary.
