ctrl key not working

Checked mouse settings, ok.  Windows setting ok.  Both ctrl Keys working the
same way.
Must be something from an update, it was working.
I'll try running live CD see if it works there.
No worries.
I will ask lug if they have an answer at tomorrows meeting will post here if
I find answer.
