Here is a frightening though for ya, Microsoft owns the patent for
longitude and latitude - or something along the lines of "representing
a location on the globe with vertical and horizontal lines".  Scary,
scary stuff.

Actually we can.  Microsoft IS doing this - right now!



I feel anyone using Microsoft software is aiding and abetting this
situation.  Don't support Microsoft!  It's basically bad for everyone,
certainly GNU/Linux/FLOSS in particular.
