[ubuntu-cloud] Eucalyptus with Ubuntu edition

Hi, all
I am new to Ubuntu and Eucalyptus. I am trying to install Eucalyptus on 
Ubuntu, but after I check some information on Ubuntu and Eucalyptus 
website, I got confused.
I am wondering which edition of Ubuntu can Eucalyptus be installed, 
desktop edition or server edition or both. Can someone please let me
