Beta release status

I have confirmed the fix for bug #61684, though in the process I discovered
bug #62712.  #62712 is arguably worse than #61684 though, so Adam and I are
looking into workarounds for the beta.

Some unconfirmed issues and non-blockers have been deferred to the 6.10
milestone:

The nightly CD building cron jobs were enabled; I've disabled them now.
