I think it's definitely worth a try. The main branch would be protected
from any mishaps, the students would be able to familiarise themselves
with bzr much more quickly, and would be able to collaborate and review
each others' work more easily too.
Do you have any ideas on how to set this up? Preferably, the branch
would be as lightweight as possible (no translations or revision history
up until now).
